Role and Responsibilities

  • You will work on the technical product development for the new drone, the ‘SD120
  • Improvement and development of the drone avionics, flight controls, electro-mechanical actuation, signal processing and automation
  • Taking over system design responsibility
  • Technical documentation
  • Creating technical specifications, configurations and wiring diagrams
  • Assembly of components and systems
  • Integration of components in the aircraft and its electrical system
  • Software integration and configuration
  • Testing of the complete drone system
  • Root cause problem solving
  • Managing avionics components and system suppliers
  • Improving SwissDrones processes and procedures

Your ideal profile

  • Technical higher education, e.g. in avionics engineering, aerospace engineering, systems engineering or electrical engineering
  • Work experience in hardware integration & specification of flight control and electrical-mechanical actuation for Aerospace Avionics
  • Work experience in software integration & specification of signal processing and automation in Aerospace Avionics
  • Experience with testing and root cause problem solving for hardware and software components
  • High degree of flexibility and working in a dynamic and growing company
  • Willingness to improve company procedures and processes
  • English: C1 – Advanced

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in one of the major CAD programs
  • German: B2 – Upper Intermediate
